Brief

In 2015, Homebase, the major home improvement retailer, asked us to update and streamline the user journey of their window and door configurator. This was with a view to making it easier for customers to order products instore and increase sales.

This stand-alone project predominantly required strategic journey analysis and expertise in UX design.

Deliverables

Our initial step for this project was to work to fully understand Homebase’s configurator by conducting thorough and in-depth user journey analysis. Working on the results of this analysis, we:

Results

Our journey analysis and development and UX design produced a configurator that allowed customers to view products and create custom orders quickly and easily. Customers could create windows in customised styles, colours and sizes through the app to help them find and purchase the ideal product for their home.
